When Blake and I met two years ago in Austin, we were both clawing our way back from health crises that had completely rewired how we thought about our bodies. I was battling a chronic illness that left me with zero energy. Blake was going through mental health challenges that made him feel like a shell of himself.
When you're trying to rebuild, you become obsessive about the details. Not in a neurotic way — in a this actually matters way. What you eat. How you sleep. How you start your day.
We're both morning people. Blake literally has "Carpe Diem" tattooed on his arm. We believe those first 20 minutes — before your phone, before the world crashes in — are the most important moments of the day. If you can win the morning, you can win the day.
A few years back, we learned you lose up to a liter and a half of water while you sleep. We'd both been making our own morning cocktails for years — mixing powders and pills to feel our best. It worked, but it was a hassle.
One morning, I looked at my kitchen counter — seven different containers — and it hit me: what if there was just one thing?
That question took us over a year to answer.
We worked with doctors, biohackers, and hydration scientists. The hard part wasn't the science — it was making something that didn't taste like ocean water or leave a chalky film on your tongue, while keeping every ingredient clean enough that I'd give it to my 3-year-old son.
At one point, I flew to LA and sat in a fluorescent-lit conference room for two hours drinking a gallon and a half of Morning Water to get the flavor right, then immediately flew home. Blake thought I was insane. He was probably right.
But we got it right.
The result is Morning Water. One glass. First thing. Before anything else.
It's the simplest thing you can do to feel different all day — your brain fires faster, your body feels awake, your afternoon doesn't need a second wind.
We hope you feel it from day one.
